T.E.A.M.S. Training is an innovative, high-energy instructional hockey company that focuses on creating power skating and skills camps for hockey programs and goalies.
Camps are developed for hockey players of all ages and abilities. In our hockey camps and clinics, pupils will develop great hockey skills and more importantly, learn life skills and core values that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
T.E.A.M.S. Training is led by passionate hockey coach and owner Jim Michals.
Jim Michals has been playing ice hockey since age 4. A high school player at Noble & Greenough, Jim then played at both the University of Connecticut and Babson College. After he graduated, Jim began coaching youth. Formerly the program coordinator for Needham Youth Hockey Intramural program, Jim has also run skills for: Boston Junior Bruins, Needham Youth Hockey, Eastern Girls Community Hockey, and Belmont Youth Hockey.
He coached Needham Youth Hockey Mite A, Needham Youth Hockey Intramurals, Boston Junior Bruins Select 1995 Level Mite Major and Squirt Major. Jim has also taught at the Berkshire Hockey School, and at Laura Stamm International Power Skating Systems, where he worked with the renowned power skating instructor herself. A full crew of other highly experienced hockey coaches completes the T.E.A.M.S. Training Staff.
